The Men Deserve Flowers Prize honors a visionary male business owner with who is creating a lasting impact on community wellness through physical health, mental well-being, or financial empowerment. We are seeking a male entrepreneur who may (or may not) be based in New York City but whose business or product meaningfully supports or influences NYC residents.

In light of Movember (Men’s Health & Wellness Month), this award shines a spotlight on purpose-driven leadership. One exceptional founder will receive a game-changing prize that amplifies their story and business across New York City, inspiring others to lead with wellness, innovation, and heart. Deadline: Friday, December 5th at 11:59pm EST.

🏆 The Prize

The winning entrepreneur will receive:

• $1,500 microgrant from HuCapital
• Featured in a month-long advertising campaign powered by The Founders’ Pool, highlighting their business across 50+ LinkNYC digital billboards in New York City’s busiest neighborhoods.

Note: Each billboard will include a custom QR code linking directly to their business, giving them the opportunity to be seen by millions of New Yorkers this Fall, with a total prize package valued at over $30,000 in advertising exposure and funding support.

🌱 Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, applicants must meet all baseline requirements:

Business Type

• A service-based or online business in industries such as tech, health & wellness, fashion, men’s grooming, food and beverage, productivity, or related sectors.
• A non-franchised brick-and-mortar business located in New York City.
