Something is shifting. After years of digital overload, people are craving what no algorithm can replicate: real rooms, real conversations, and real connection. The endless scroll is losing its grip, and in its place, intentional in-person experiences are making a comeback.

HuCapital saw this coming. Since the gradual return to normalcy post-COVID, we've made it our mission to champion IRL connection, bringing intentional events back to the forefront in early 2023. Now we want to go further. We're putting resources directly into the hands of creators and community builders who share that same passion for bringing people together offline.

If you're building spaces where professionals, creatives, and founders can show up, connect, and grow together, this grant, in collaboration with the Desmond Fontaine Foundation, was made for you.

🏆 The Prize

1 Winner will receive:

• A $1,000 microgrant from HuCapital to fund a 2026 IRL event

🌱 Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, applicants must meet all baseline requirements:

• An active creator producing content focused on the growth and betterment of creatives, professionals, or founders OR an organizer with an existing professional community organization
• Must be U.S.-based
• Prior event experience isn't required, but applicants must clearly articulate their vision for a future IRL event
